This department has won the Best Department Award for the academic year 2010-2011.The Department of Computer Science has many areas of interest, and the center area of attention is cloud computing and Computer Networks. The Computer lab houses 277 terminals forming an excellent infrastructure thereby providing the students good atmosphere to work in. Computer labs are equipped with structured LAN with Internet Facility of 10 Mbps speed. To make our Internet more secure and virus free we have installed Sonic Firewall .We have an exclusive lab for LINUX with 67 terminals. The department has started spreading its wings by starting the Post Graduate Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering course in the academic year 2011-2012.
