Language is a complex skill, involving four fundamental skills, LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing). Constant exposure to a language and integration of the four skills develop the know-how and proficiency of the language Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Each skill reinforces the other skills and integration of these skills is needed to be successful. Besides, motivation, perseverance, dedication, will power, patience, regular practice and constant exposure to the language will take us miles ahead in achieving our dreams. With the above-mentioned facts in mind, FLAIR LITERARY CLUB has been initiated and it is an assemblage, devoted to endorse all the facets of literary activities, and our main focus is to unfurl the intrinsic worth of students by constant motivation and encouragement and bestow them with ample opportunities soas to put across their wisdom, thoughts, feelings and so on through an assortment of activities and showcase them to the outside world. We are confident that our vesture will be a platform to unearth the students’ inherent talents and potentials, and budding writers and speakers will emerge.

Objectives

• To experience and develop curiosity, interest and enjoyment in developing the four language skills
• To provide a platform for budding writers and speakers
• To develop and demonstrate skills in critical and analytical thinking through effective speaking and writing activities
• To excel in a variety of literary activities with a high level of understanding and appreciation
• To inculcate team spirit and to account for the overall personality development of the students
